Pile-dwelling chef

All day
Duration: 2 hours

Target audience: 3rd–4th Grade of Primary School

The particular storage conditions in pile-dwelling sites have made it possible to identify organic materials that are usually lost in time. These include plant remains and food incrustations found on ceramic items, such as the fragment exhibited in the museum. After discovering the history of the site and the characteristics of life in a pile-dwelling, participants will delve into eating habits, discovering what ingredients the inhabitants used, and how they were cooked and combined to make a prehistoric menu.
